Welcome to Old Newton Bowls Club

We are a very friendly club, situated in the village of Old Newton, just 3 miles from the town of Stowmarket in Suffolk.

We play Federation Lawn Bowls. During 2026 we will play in the Stowmarket & District League on Monday evenings, Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings; in the Area D league on Tuesday evenings; and in the Bury League on Thursday evenings. We also take part in knockout cup competitions within these leagues and the County, as well as our own Club knockout competitions. Also popular are friendly matches during the bowling season and social events during the winter.

We welcome new members, whether they are new to bowls or experienced players, and we accommodate all abilities and ages. We offer player memberships and social only memberships.
